“Drive2Give” is a hunger relief food-drive initiative of The USA Cooking Camp Foundation. The initiative was designed to collect perishable and non-perishable food items for individuals, families, homeless shelters and food banks during the holiday season.

In the state of Illinois, there are close to 400,000 people who are hungry and 1.4 million without regular access to enough food to feed their families. Drive2Give is committed to meeting the needs of people throughout the Chicago land area and its surrounding suburbs who require assistance during the Holiday season.

Drive2Give Statistics

• Drive 2 Give officially launched in December of 2008 and successfully raised the resources to feed over 60 families.
• In 2009, Drive2Give implemented its new “school partnership” program Holiday food-drive contest.
• In November of 2009, Drive2Give implemented a Thanksgiving Holiday food-drive. Our efforts were successful in feeding 130 families.
• Efforts are currently undergoing as we anticipate feeding another 100 families in December for the Christmas food-drive.
